FUME EXHAUST HOOD

FUME EXHAUST HOOD:
                                                 Laboratory Fume Hoods are one of the most important components used to protect laboratory personnel from exposure to hazardous chemicals and agents used in the laboratory.  It offers a substantial degree of protection to the users. Experimental procedures are performed with in the hood which is consistently and safely ventilated gases, vapours and fumes are contained usually pulls air and airborne contaminants in the hood through exhaust blower and duct work connected to the hood and exhausts them to the atmosphere.  It controls exposure of the hood user and lab occupants to hazardous or odorous chemicals and prevent their release into the laboratory.
